GOLF AT GOODWOOD

WEST SUSSEX

Goodwood has been at the forefront of international sport for generations through its racecourses and motor circuit and is now gaining an excellent reputation for the quality of its golf. With two distinctive 18-hole courses and a new short game course, set in stunning surroundings plus an array of memberships, Golf At Goodwood is golf as it should be: simple, flexible and accessible.

Designed in 1914 by legendary golf architect, James Braid, The Downs course is an award-winning downland course consisting of fast-running fairways, undulating greens and dramatic elevation changes in the valley and hills. An easy-walking 6,650-yard course that suits all levels of golfing ability, The Park course was designed by golf architect and player, Donald Steel, provides the perfect challenge to today’s golfer. The tree-lined fairways wind their way around the 18th century Goodwood House and their closely guarded greens demand a challenging level of accuracy.

Unveiled in 2024, The Copse is a short game area and short course designed by specialist architect, James Edward. With six holes ranging from 50 to 90 yards meandering around the Evergreen Oak, The Copse is the perfect location to practice your shots, warm up before a round or play a game with your friends. Quite simply, there is something for everyone at Golf At Goodwood.
