Set on the picturesque Surrey and South London border, Banstead Downs Golf Club offers a true downland golfing experience in outstanding natural surroundings. This par-71 course stretches to almost 6,600 yards and is built on a chalk base, delivering superb drainage and consistently fine playing surfaces.

Thanks to its free-draining fairways, Banstead Downs remains playable year-round, even when many other courses are forced to close. It’s a course that rewards thoughtful play while remaining enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.

We warmly welcome Golfing Societies and offer a flexible range of options, allowing groups to create a bespoke package tailored to their needs. Society bookings are available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, and all day on Thursdays. For those looking to make the most of their visit, multiple-round days of 27 or 36 holes are available on Thursdays.

Beyond the course, our modernised clubhouse provides the perfect setting to relax and socialise. With a spacious bar and dining rooms, it’s an ideal venue for society days and post-round gatherings. Significant investment in recent years has enhanced both the course and clubhouse, ensuring a welcoming, contemporary environment.
