BIRCHWOOD PARK

Nestled within rolling countryside just outside Wilmington in Kent, our picturesque 18 hole 6,364 yard course offers a great game for golfers of all standards. The front nine guides you through meandering parkland holes with scenic views and a variety of testing and more welcoming holes, while the back nine offers a more challenging test of golf with many water hazards to contend with.

Course Highlights

15th hole – Step onto the tee of our 455 yard par 4 and you will soon discover why it’s our signature hole. A long and accurate tee shot is required to hit the leftside of the fairway at the top of the hill. The perfect drive will leave a mid to long iron approach to a well- guarded green with out of bounds looming left and long.

17th Hole – There is no better penultimate hole than this beautiful par 5.

Once you’ve striped your tee shot down the tree lined fairway towards the lakes, you must thread between the lake and well placed bunker. A real risk and reward hole that has been known to make or break rounds.

18th Hole – As you play back to the clubhouse, lakes once again need to be avoided on this 430 yard par 4 on both the tee shot and the approach. A narrow entrance protected by lakes and bunkers requires an accurate second shot. All of this, in front of the clubhouse and onlookers. Will you be walking onto the patio with your head held high?
