Stanton on the Wolds GOLF CLUB

Stanton-on-the-Wolds Golf Club was awarded England Golf’s Championship Venue of the Year 2019 after successfully hosting England Golf’s Senior Men’s County Finals. The Club is situated in the wolds of South Nottinghamshire and extends a warm and sincere welcome to golfers and non-golfers alike. From its foundation in 1906, the club has always encouraged participation both playing and socially, a principle which it considers an essential ingredient in forming a friendly and inclusive Club.

The original architect of this interesting and scenic 18-hole parkland course, Tom Williamson, left a supreme legacy at Stanton, demonstrating how golf and nature can blend harmoniously. The course has an enviable reputation of being in excellent condition throughout the year and in addition probably has the purest greens in the county. The Par 73 tree lined course will reward accurate shots and punish those off-line making this a true test of golf for players of all abilities.

A high number of societies return annually due to the overall experience they receive whilst visiting the club.
