THE CARNOUSTIE BUDDON COURSE

The newest of the three courses at Carnoustie Golf Links, originally designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas on land that was formerly part of the ladies’ course and Ministry of Defence land, hence the reason why the holes are named after battles. The course was opened in 1979. Since then, many changes have taken place including the most recent investment in two new holes bringing the course up to a very testing par 68.

The Carnoustie Buddon Course is one of three wonderful 18-hole courses at Carnoustie Golf Links, where you can also find the challenging Carnoustie Burnside Course and the jewel in the crown – The Carnoustie Championship Course.

In the purpose-built clubhouse is the award-winning Professional Shop, which offers custom fitting and tuition, and is fully stocked with a selection of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and golfing equipment. Furthermore, Links House also boasts seven modern golf simulators, allowing guests to warm up in style (for an additional fee) and providing useful insights into their game before venturing out onto the turf.

The Rookery, a contemporary bar and restaurant that boasts magnificent panoramic views over the world famous Carnoustie Championship Course showcases the best produce Scotland has to offer. The restaurant offers a comfortable and relaxing eating space with outstanding service and style.
