The Dyke GOLF CLUB

The Dyke Golf Club is a members club founded in 1906. It takes its name from the nearby Devil’s Dyke a famous beauty spot on National Trust land. Situated on a plateau of the south downs the views from the clubhouse to nearby Brighton and the English Channel are magnificent.

The course, designed by F Hawtree and measuring 6,653 yards from the white tees is maintained in good condition throughout the year and is popular during the winter months because of its excellent drainage and firm, true greens.

The relatively easy start with three par fives in the first four holes belies some testing par fours to come and the beauty of the 5th and 17th, two of the finest par three’s you will find anywhere.

Visitors are welcome and many return year after year to sample the delights of the course and the good food and friendly welcome in the clubhouse
